Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 116 (3) (a) and (b) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003) that it is the intention of the Overstrand Municipality to amend the existing Main Agreement with Messrs. Bytes Systems Integration. The proposed amendment of the Main Agreement is to provide for the extension of the services and support for a period ending 30 June 2016.

Overstrand Municipality is in the process of upgrading existing water pipelines in Betty`s Bay. The upgrading is essential to ensure better water flow in the water reticulations and to eliminate water losses.

- attracting more visitors to the Overstrand area;
- increasing the length of stay in our region;
- addressing seasonality and contributing to economic development and growth in the Overstrand; and
- promoting broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) and small, medium and micro enterprise (SMME) participation in the economy.
